Harold Ickes, President
Harold Ickes' nearly fifty years of commitment and accomplishments fighting for progressive causes have earned him trust, respect and friendship of unusual breadth and depth in the progressive political community. He is a founding partner of The Ickes & Enright Group, a Washington , DC consulting firm. Prior to this, Mr. Ickes served as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Political Affairs and Policy to President Clinton, managing a number of the President's key policy initiatives. He was also an architect of the President's 1996 re-election campaign (the first successful re-election campaign of a Democratic president since FDR), the 1996 Democratic National Convention, and the 1997 Presidential Inaugural.
Prior to serving in the White House, Mr. Ickes was a partner in the New York law firm of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C., specializing in election and union-side labor law. He rejoined the law firm as partner in 1998 and serves as co-chair of its thirty-member Labor Law and Government Affairs Departments. |

Laura Quinn, Chief Executive Officer
Laura Quinn is a founding partner of QRS Newmedia, Inc., which specializes in communication technology design and integration services. Founded in 1996, QRS clients have included the Democratic Presidential campaigns in 1996, 2000 and 2004; a wide of range of progressive political campaigns, organizations and non-profits; and other corporate and academic institutions. QRS's technology renovation for the Democratic National Committee in 2003-04 included complete IT, telecom and media system overhauls, as well as construction of a national voter file and new internet marketing systems, that helped the DNC increase their donor base more than five-fold and to out-fundraise the Republican National Committee for the first time in history.
Prior to these endeavors, Ms. Quinn served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Vice President Gore, as Director of the Democratic Technology and Communications Committee for the Democratic Majority Leader in the U.S. Senate, and in a variety of senior Senate and campaign positions. |

Vijay Ravindran, Chief Technology Officer
Vijay Ravindran, an Amazon.com veteran, is an experienced innovative technical leader with proven high-profile delivery. Immediately prior to joining Catalist, Mr. Ravindran was Director of the Ordering Services group at Amazon.com. He led a technical organization of over 130 engineers responsible for website consumer purchasing and order management across all of Amazon.com's websites, which included such well known features as "1-Click", "Checkout", "Shopping Cart", "Your Account", and "Super Saver Shipping". He also was a principal in the conception, delivery and ongoing management of the Amazon Prime membership program. Previously, Mr. Ravindran held a series of software management positions with Amazon.com, having joined the company as a software development engineer in 1998.
Prior to joining Amazon.com, Mr. Ravindran was a software consultant at American Management Systems (now CGI-AMS) in Fairfax, Virginia, and in Düsseldorf, Germany . |

Will Loman, General Counsel
Will Loman has served for over nine years advising private and public sector companies on a broad range of corporate matters with extensive experience in matters regarding business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance and securities. Prior to joining Catalist, Mr. Loman served as Associate General Counsel for the industry-leading, information technology and management consulting company, BearingPoint, Inc., where he played a key role in the execution of multi-million dollar, transactional agreements with the company's largest commercial clients, as well as the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and dispute avoidance. Prior to BearingPoint, Mr. Loman held key positions in the General Counsel office at Acterna Corporation and DoubleClick, and was a Corporate Associate at the law firm Bryan Cave in New York.
Mr. Loman served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps Division of the Judge Advocate General Corps and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. degree in Sociology/Political Science from Howard University, with high honors. Mr. Loman is an admitted member of the New York bar. |

Erik Brauner, Chief Architect
Erik Brauner brings to Catalist many years of experience designing and implementing large-scale database-driven systems marked by high performance and guaranteed availability. As a Senior Research Scientist for Behaveuristics Inc. during the late 90s Mr. Brauner was responsible for designing and leading the implementation of large, multi-million dollar systems used by the airlines for forecasting, revenue management and pricing. More recently, as a Head of Informatics, Mr. Brauner was a member of the academic community where he was responsible for managing the development of large-scale databases for the biology and chemistry communities at Harvard and MIT. Mr. Brauner still retains a lectureship appointment at Harvard's Department of Systems Biology. |

Tom Bregman comes to Catalist with twenty years experience in the telecom, banking and insurance sectors as a product manager, software developer and business analyst. Over the past decade he has played a key role in the creation, marketing and management of a global business-to-business IP portfolio for a Fortune 100 company. In parallel with a career in the private sector, Mr. Bregman has been active in progressive politics since receiving his Political Science degree (International Relations) from SUNY Stony Brook. His political work includes; organizing regional grass roots efforts to protect the environment and open space, volunteer staff work for congressional and presidential campaigns, active participation in town and county Democratic Committees, running his campaign for the county legislature, and co-founding the Democratic Alliance in New York's Hudson Valley. |

Bob Blaemire, Director of Business Development (State Government and State Party)
Bob has been an active participant in politics his entire adult life. Born and raised in Indiana, his career began at the age of 18 upon entering George Washington University. His employment with Senator Birch Bayh (D-IN) began in 1967 during Bob's freshman year and concluded with Bayh's unsuccessful re-election campaign in 1980. Those 13 years saw Bob rise from volunteer worker to Office Manager to Executive Assistant in the Senate Office and, finally, Political Director of the 1980 campaign.
After the 1980 defeat, he founded a political action committee, The Committee for American Principles, an organization seeking to combat the growing role and influence of the New Right in political campaigns. He began his career providing political computer services in 1982, eventually joining with and starting the Washington Office of Below, Tobe & Associates. In 1991, Bob created Blaemire Communications, a political computer services firm serving Democratic campaigns, progressive organizations and political consultants. During that time, Blaemire Communications managed more Democratic state party voter file projects than any other vendor. In late 2007, Blaemire Communications was acquired by Catalist.

Joel Orlina is a senior software engineer with team leadership experience. Mr. Orlina was most recently the Development Manager at META Security Group, an IT security firm in Herndon, Virginia, offering products and services for managing enterprise IT security programs. Alan Julson comes to Catalist with a background in the collection and use of voter lists by Democratic Party organizations and campaigns. In 2003 and 2004, Mr. Julson worked at Democratic National Committee’s Voter Contact Department as Voter File Project Director. While there, he worked closely with State Parties in their development and use of statewide voter registration databases. Mr. Julson also worked with State Parties on their other technological needs such as mapping and targeting and worked with the DNC Technology Department on the the DNC’s national voter file. Mr. Julson’s previous campaign experience includes working as the voter file manager for Maine Democratic Party. During this time he worked on the Coordinated Campaigns that delivered Maine for Al Gore in 2000 and helped elect John Baldacci Governor in 2002. In addition to marketing Blaemire Communications’ services to potential clients he performed a wide range of duties, including overseeing statewide and campaign voter file projects from acquisition to implementation in all fifty states for a variety of clients including thirty state Democratic parties, campaigns at every level, progressive organizations and consulting firms.
Bill has also managed statewide, congressional, legislative and local campaigns and field programs in eleven states, with an emphasis on state legislative campaigns and caucuses. He is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and a graduate of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. |

Prior to starting Point Blank, Weiss was Vice President, Public Affairs at the UN Foundation. Lyn Utrecht is a partner at Ryan, Phillips, Utrecht & MacKinnon, practicing in the areas of federal and state election, campaign finance, ethics and lobbying laws. She has represented members of congress, presidential candidates and their campaign committees, and other high-profile clients before the Federal Election Commission, the Senate and House Ethics Committees, and state election commissions. Ms. Utrecht was Counsel to four of the 2004 presidential primary campaigns and, prior to that, to four Democratic tickets, including both successful Clinton-Gore campaigns. She has also represented numerous Senate campaigns, including the Hillary Rodham Clinton for US Senate Committee.

In 1998, Ms. Wang joined DoubleClick Inc., a global Internet advertising company, as its general counsel and first lawyer, and was serving as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at the time of her departure in 2003. Ms. Wang was active in DoubleClick's strategic corporate transactions, product development, privacy and data protection matters, and in their government affairs efforts.
Prior to joining DoubleClick, Ms. Wang was in-house counsel to the new media divisions of Simon & Schuster. She has also practiced at the New York law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and in San Francisco , at the law firm of Howard, Rice. Since 2004, Ms. Wang has been an adjunct professor at the Columbia University School of Law. She holds a Juris Doctor from the Columbia University School of Law (1990), where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. |
