The web-based query application, the Q Tool, is the window into Catalist's data warehouse. The Q Tool allows customers to access and download the data that lies at the heart of our business, and to match standard voter file information with both commercial data and clients' own proprietary data.

Catalist recently completed the acqusition and integration of registered voters and voting age persons (VAPs) into the Q Tool for all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Catalist now has the capability to upload membership, fundraising, donor and other proprietary customer data and match these lists against a full national database. This expanded capacity means Catalist subscribers now have 51 state coverage on matching projects that provide updated and enhanced information in support of programs and operations.
